Clear bra is the only way to protect your car’s paint from Road Debris Impact (aka Rock Chips) that look terrible and lower the value of the vehicle. We proudly provide automotive clear bra installation in the Denver area.

Denver Auto Shield chooses to work exclusively with XPEL Paint Protection Films. We have a strong history with XPEL and a great working relationship. XPEL offers industry leading film technology with great customer support. We also utilize XPEL’s DAP Design Access Program to safely customize coverage for every vehicle without placing a razor blade over your brand-new paint. With this software, we can extend coverage, wrap edges, and limit seams for a precise fitment that protects your paint while looking fantastic.

XPEL Ultimate Clear Bra, also called Paint Protection Film, is a clear Urethane film, that when installed over the vehicles paint, absorbs the damaging impact of road debris as it hits your car. Road Debris can come in many forms. It is most commonly dirt, gravel, and debris from construction trucks or material transport trucks that is thrown up from the car in front of you. At speed, this debris impacts your cars new paint and chips it… Rock Chips!
XPEL Clear Bra also protects your paint from things like bird droppings, parking lot scuffs from shopping carts, minor door dings in a parking garage, the kids’ bikes, whatever it may be that would normally scratch and damage the paint as the car lives its normal life. To get a feel for the complete process, read through a few of our Full Project Write Ups on the Blog.

To schedule a clear bra installation at our facility in the Denver area, review the packages we offer below and give us a call.

Clear Bra is installed on the Front Bumper, Headlamps and Fog Lamps, Full Hood, Full Fenders, Side Mirrors, and Door Cups.

The Full Front Package protects the full front end of the vehicle from road debris. If the car will see highway speeds at any time we recommend this coverage. It also allows for a very clean installation as we can wrap all edges and do not have the line break across the Hood and Fenders where the Partial Coverage does.

Clear Bra is installed on the Front Bumper, Headlamps and Fog Lamps, Full Hood, Full Fenders, A Pillars and Roof Strip, Lower Door Strip, Rocker Panels, Rear Bumper Impact Area, Side Mirrors, and Door Cups.

The Driver’s Package is designed based on the areas of the car that are the most exposed to impact and damage during use. Any daily driven or sport driven vehicle should have this coverage.

The Full Body Clear Bra Coverage is the ultimate worry free driving experience. We are able to completely protect every exterior painted surface of the vehicle to ensure that no damage is incurred from road debris impact and every day use. This will keep rock chips completely off of your mind while enjoying the car and perfectly preserve the factory paint finish.

How do you feel when speaking with them?

The interaction between you and the shop should be an open conversation, where the shop is acting as your consultant. They should be asking questions about how the car lives its life and how you live with the car to find the best solution for you and your budget. When it comes to applying an effective protective film, our Denver clear bra installers make your best interests (and those of your car) their priority.

Are they a Retail or Wholesale Shop?

If a shop is taking on large amounts of Dealership work it means they are constantly under the gun to get things in and out of their facility quickly and cheaply. Make sure the shop is Customer Service driven by the quality of their final product as their highest priority. Our Denver clear bra experts put your satisfaction first.

Are they Hand Trimming film on cars?

The technology in installation tools has come a long way in the past few years. We now have the XPEL DAP Software that provides perfectly designed patterns for every area of the car that can be perfectly adjusted and pre-cut on the Graphtec 60″ Plotter to wrap edges and customize coverage. There is no need to hand trim paint protection film over the paint, possibly cutting through and damaging the factory finish.

Are they using a top-quality film like XPEL Ultimate?

The quality of the Paint Protection Film construction has increased significantly. The old single layer urethane films are very fragile. They yellow easily and are easily damaged by bird droppings and water spots. The latest technology in Clear Bra uses a Urethane Top Coat designed to mimic your cars clear coat. It is very glossy, protects from yellowing, and holds up much better to environmental damage. It is also Self Healing, which means that minor scratches are no longer a problem.
